Innkellerbande in Vienna

It finally happened – after a long long time the Innkeller Bande (Babsi, Andi, Birgit, Sidi, Max, myself – a group of friend from University in Innbruck) met again! Babsi came from Zurich, Max and Sidi from Frankfurt and Andi moved to Vienna from Frankfurt recently. It was a long weekend which started with joint breakfast on Friday on Naschmarkt and quickly led to having beers and chatting about the things that have recently happened.

As it was a sunny day in fall we decided to have a little walk and move over to famous Hermanns Strandbar where we popped our toes into the sand and had a couple of drinks (happy hour was just waiting for us). In the evening we went to a Heurigen a little bit outside of Vienna where we finally met Andi. Biggest surprise that we all got to know Babsis boyfriend ‚Raeto‘ (his real name is Fabian). Something we have been desperately waiting for because we have already heard many stories about him. And it was big fun to hang out with Raeto!

Saturday was a day to relax and unfortunately I had to leave Vienna because it was the day of moving my furniture and belongings from Salzburg into my new flat in Vienna. So the Innkeller Banden Weekend was relatively short for me – but a fantastic revival!
