100 days of summer

… well that’s the answer to the question where I have opened the bathing season 2009. Käthy took me to a open air pool called 100 days of summer It is located in Mödling next to the Austria Trend Event Pyramid. My guess is that the place is an old place (at least building structure looks like it).

But it has brilliantly be refurbished. The facts: painted in yellow colour combinded with dark wood, a lake side terrace with a bar, very comfortable sitting furniture for sipping cocktails and having coffee, sandy beach at the lake and lounge chairs and hammocks you can grab for free for lying in the sun.

The only bad thing is that this place can be hardly reached by public transport … so whoever out there has got a car and fancies going for a swim every now and then … let me know!!

Ice cream winner is: actually nobody ... but as Helle was the only one to drop a guess (the wrong one though) I will be happy to buy some ice cream for him!
