Vienna Update

Well, I have been really lazy recently with updating the blog. Like a couple of times before I do promise to change that! A quick update on things that have happened in the last weeks in chronological order:

Chicken Curry Session
As I am still sharing flat while looking for my own appartment there was a first joint cooking session held. Everybody was up for asian food so we cooked delicious chicken curry with fresh peppers and a lot of garlic.

Phil's Birthday
8th of April again brought Phil's Birthday which took us to a place called Liounge where we all celebrated over steaming 'Shabu Shabu' which is some kind of Korean Soup Fondue.

Wachau Daytrip
Mike, Rupi and me started for a one day trip to a region outside Vienna which is called Wachau. Besides the apricot bloom and the great wines they grow the scenery is just breathtaking. We decided to travel to Melk by train and to do the trip back on a boat on the river Danube. Very enjoyabel indeed as the sun was out and holiday feeling present! We whiled away what was left of the day a a typical local inn (Heuriger Müllner) with great food and good wine.

Weekend Picknick
As the sun was shining for a whole weekend recently Käthy, Aleks, Phil and me packed the picknick basket and went to the Steinhofgründe on the outskirts of Vienna for a lovely day in the sun. With a bottle of white wine, freshly grilled chicken and fruits we did not miss a thing! Frisbee, soccer, reading or just chilling in the sun in lovely surroundings ... a wonderful Sunday!
