Nürnberg weekend

After three (!) years it was the first time that Andrea, Barbara, Max, Sidi and I met altogether again. I could not believe that we all managed to come to Nürnberg for a joint Christmas weekend altogether. We met on Friday evening in the hotel and headed straight to the oldtown were we had a couple of drinks and catched up. As we haven´t seen each other for a long time it was a looong night.

Next day was a late start with some of us having a severe headache. But of course this did not keep us from strolling through the huge Christmas market that Nürnberg is so famous for. Sidi, who has been to Nürnberg in Christmas time before, took us to the oldest ‘sausage restaurant’ where we had delicious lunch: the worldfamous Nürnberger Rostbratwürste. As lunch gave us power back we enjoyed the rest of the Christmas market (hot wine!) and then dipped into Saturday night life hopping from bar to bar. The final goal was a Karaoke bar were we impressed the german crowd by singing “Zwickts mi” in Austrian slang.
