Toms' birthday in Hamburg

After having partied with Doris, Aleks and Phil until 5 in the morning I got up again at 7 last Friday and headed to the airport. It's been a long time since I fell asleep on the bus but this time it happened. 3 hours later Alex and Sandra picked me up at Hamburg airport and we started an excellent day of sightseeing: Schanzenviertel where we had coffee to get started, strolling over a fleamarket, a boat tour of the harbor and the old storehouse-town and finally the biggest model railway in the world!

After the touristic program which we performed in rain and wind gusts we went to Toms flat where we got ready for going out and celebrating his birthday. Best thing: Tom did not know that I flew to Hamburg to join the party! So it was a big hello when we all met at the pub. It was really fantastic to hang out with Sandra, Alex and Tom and of course with all their friends. Although I got really tired at some point we did not stop and went to Reeperbahn and went out in some of the clubs and bars. Arrival back home: 6 in the morning - happy but tired.

Breakfast in Toms flat the next morning was wonderful and after that we passed the day chatting and watching photos before I flew back home. Hamburg - a great townt that I will have to visit in 2008 again.
