East meets West

Brandeins is a german business magazine that I read frequently. Their view of things is really refreshing, they are covering topics and issues that are left out by most of the other magazines and finally they seem to find an unbiased approach to the topics almost all of the times. In the December issue that is dealing with Design I came across some pictograms that were created by Yang Liu, a Chinese that has been living in Berlin since she is 13. The pictograms are titled “East meets West”. It is her way to describe the differences of her home country and the county she now lives in.
