Update

Again it has been a while since I have been dropping the last lines on my blog. A lot has happened since. For example I made a short trip to Vienna where I was able to catch up with my best friends and join Birgit while moving to her new flat. To be honest leaving Salzburg for a short time was good. I know that this may sound funny because I have been travelling a lot anyway in the last weeks – but still this was far more enjoyable than any of the other trips.

Also I have again been thinking about that “freedom of choice” issue that I have been blogging about recently. At the moment I would definitely call it “weird freedom of choice” to be honest. Mainly because I realized that if you do freely decide something - next thing that happens is that the consequences that come along don’t give you any freedom of choice any more. It is like deciding to open a door and to walk through – but all of a sudden all the other doors that follow are randomly open or shut – no influence possible anymore, decision taken by others. Could you say stuck? I don't know ...

One decision I took with my flatmate a couple of days ago was to invite some good friends to our place for some hot wine. Along with the hot wine we had some snacks and some beer and although most of us had to get up early the next day it was really good fun to sit together. I am looking forward to repeating this get together. (Pictures to follow ...)
Other things I am currently looking forward to: skiing for the first time this year, the Christmas holidays with my best friends being in town altogether and setting up my private travel goals for 2008 within the next couple of days.

I enjoy looking at the photograph that I posted below (December 4th) every time I visit my blog. So I decided that I would like to share another one. It was taken on a trip to the USA and Canada in 2005 at Niagara Falls. Originally the picture was shot in colour but I like it better in black and white. Hope you like it.

Tune I listen to while writing these lines: the clattering sound of the railroad tracks while being on the train from Munich to Salzburg.
