Italy

It´s been a while since we are back. But until now I haven´t updated the blog - but yes - now I replaced the last entry and will provide you with a short report and some pics on our holiday in Italy:

It all began quite chaotic this year. The van we were supposed to ride crashed and so we had to change our plan completely. This means we went with two cars and all met down in Duna (as we call Duna Verde) on Saturday at about lunch time. The Duna team 06: Sue, Rob, Verena, Max, Aleks, Phil and myself. The beginning of our holiday was the traditional hang out with my mum at the beach house while drinking prosecco ...

For the first time ever we had to book our accommodatino with another agency but everything turned to be just fine and to be hones we quite enjoyed the house in Cala Luna. It was bigger than the previous ones, had a spacious living room with kitchen and two yards for sitting outside. One had the tennis court in front ... the other one our pool.

Well - there is a lot to tell about the week - but I will keep it short. We got up late, had breakfast in the garden, Max and Verena performed on the center court, beach volleyball was the main attraction at the beach and then vodka martinis at the house or at the pool while playing boardgames. Of course we had to support Fidel by drinking Cuba Libre once in a while. One day we left for Venice where we explored the narrowest alleyways and were quite impressed when we saw the world´s 3rd biggest private yacht.

As usual time passed too fast and we all did not feel like going home ... but we had to. A really relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Hope this can be repeated at some point!
