Wedding of Sandra & Alex

To be honest: I should have written this entry about 3 weeks ago. Now as I have had a look at my filo I realized that I have to hurry up with my blogwork!

It was on July 29th. Phil picked me up with our rental car (which should have been a Golf but turned out to be a nice Mercedes) at 4 in the morning. We hit the highway straight away and headed into the direction of Mülheim an der Ruhr where we were invited at the wedding of our friends Sandra and Alex. It was great to share that day with bride and groom and also see a lot of our friends from the fraternity Gaudeamus which we haven´t seen for quite a while.

We were lucky and there wasn´t to much traffic so we arrived with some time left for lunch. Tom and his mum were our hosts for the night so we dropped our bags off and got dressed for the church service in the afternoon. After church the whole party drove to a lovely old barn that has been refurbished and decorated for all different kinds of meetings and parties. We spent a great night amongst friends with a lot of good food and drink ... music and great atmosphere. See for yourself:
