Innsbruck and Kitzbühler Jahrmarkt

Just one week after having travelled to Germany for the wedding I left Salzburg for another weekend full of fun and meeting friends. After having finished to work on Friday I met Sidi and Max back at my flat and after lunch we drove to Innsbruck. I was invited to have incredible Schnitzel-Dinner at my old flat by PDP-Pete. And after that I joined the rest of the party (Sidi, Verena, Max, Kerni, Christian and Herold) at Kerni and Christian´s flat.
Good times I can tell you ... a lot of fun to hang out with those guys. But at around 1 a.m. we felt like going out and so we went to Down under for a drink. Step by step people left and so it happened that Kerni and I were left over and decided to invade Hofgarten for another drink. This was a great idea because we met Birgit and Olli there!
As they had left we stayed and at 4 in the morning when we still did not feel like going home (could this have been influenced by the drinks we had??) we decided to make it a great night and go to "Plateau". As we opened the door there - guess whom we saw shakin at the dancefloor? Yessss - Birgit and Olli. And of course we all stayed to the very end ... then had some pizza at Ollis flat and went home at 7:30 in the morning.
So you can imagine how knackered we (talking about Kerni and myself ... not about all the others who left) were the very next day. But: we got up and had breakfast and prepared for the next highlight: Jahrmarkt in Kitzbühel

(Max, Kerni, Wolfi and Sidi at Wörgl)

(Birgit, Wolfi and Olli at the Jahrmarkt)

For my foreign friends: Jahrmarkt can not really be translated. But you can imagine the whole thing as a kind of fun fair taking place in the old city centre of Kitzbühel. Most of the people dressing in traditional clothes (yes, dirndl and lederhosen) and partying all night long. Our group was really big and Andi and her family were our host again this year! Thank you sooo much!
